It's snowing
The snow had set in by 4.30 today so our boss abandoned today's overtime requirement in favour of going home. We had some snow last night, but it was only about 3 or 4cm which isn't enough to hinder the roads so we were all in this morning. Unusually London has been rather worse hit than we have although some reports suggest that that we may overtake them tomorrow. The BBC frustrates me by linking our postcode weather report with the nearest city regardless of the fact that we are on the edge of the Peak District and therefore considerably higher up.
