Miss Me When I'm Gone

Honey, those sweetened words of yours mean nothing to me,
Yet it’s funny that once you say them out loud, they all seem real.
Procrastination has been my main reason of living,
While you’re busy making your excuses.
Misery is life’s company, stupidity is reality’s problem.
Once I stepped out of this room,
Please don’t say goodbye to me.
I’m gonna leave a hole in that wall tonight,
So when you woke up,
You’ll feel all tired and sore.

I’m not gonna waste any minute anymore,
Because knowing you making me feel like this
Has made my guts turn into shit.
Damn crappy life has become worse with you around,
And dang, I just hate it when you’re around.

You should have seen your life’s face when you said it.
You should have gotten your face skewered when you did it.
Between cups of coffees and slices of waffles,
I’ll have to admit you’re the worst mask maker around.
You can’t play this game, oh no.
You suck at it real bad.
So go back to your cage and whimper all night,
While I sit outside and bask underneath the moonlight.

If you use truths and lies measuring your life,
You’ll get nowhere with the other end.
And when you’re finally at the other end,
You’ll see me with my bags packed,
My heart locked and my ring nowhere.
Please, hun, of all things,
Do please shut up.
