OK, my hands are still shaking, but at least there is a big-ass grin on my face. Why, you ask? Well, I'm sure some of you don't need to ask...
ELEVEN FUCKING NOMINATIONS!!!!! Eleven! I am still sort of in shock. I predicted several of the noms last night, but I had no idea they'd get pegged for Art Direction and Screenplay... not that they don't deserve it, I just wasn't expecting it! And I was not surprised that they slighted Sean Astin. *sigh* Why? He deserved it, damn it! And why the hell didn't they get a Cinematography nod? Every time I watch one of the LOTR films, I always marvel at the awesome cinematography, and this was no exception. Guh.
OMG, this is so Peter Jackson's year to win it all!

Music/Score - Howard Shore really IS a genius!

OK, time to go check my e-mail. I hate to say it, but Oscars.com was the first thing I did this morning when I got up. I could barely sleep last night. I know some of you will think I'm pathetic. I just don't care anymore. *shrug*
