Dammit! Bruce Almighty came out on DVD today. Pooooooo. :( I like to buy DVDs when they first come out b/c they're on sale! Double poo. $14.99 vs. $19.99... I mean, I know it's only five bucks' difference, but I like to save it where I can. *shrug*
I changed the year on my 'friends-only' banner entry. I wanted to put 2101 (ye olde AYBABTU ref.. hahaha), but it wouldn't let me. :P So anyway, now it will stick to the top of my journal entries. Not that I had many public entries, but still. *shrug*
No icon-making has occured today. I had to go to Hell-Mart to buy Nick a few more two-liters of Mountain Lightning (dammit, he drinks them WAY too fast... *frown*) and also to get ingredients for the pumpkin cheesecake I'm making. I'm actually going to improvise, though... instead of making the actual cheesecake part from scratch, I'm using mix. Yes, I am cheap... right now, nobody has any right to blame me, either. :P But I did have to buy canned pumpkin, nutmeg and some walnuts, since I only had about three tablespoons' worth. But anyway, I had to get that stuff and food for the kitties, and when I got home, we started tearing out the paneling in the front room and the nasty-ass wallpaper behind it. Can you say ABOUT DAMN TIME? LOL... it smells really gross in there now, though, because apparently one of the former residents had a dog that peed everywhere and it seeped into the wallpaper or something (that was the way Nick explained it, anyway). It STINKS. Ugh. So I am spraying the wall with Febreze and Renuzit Neutralizer (I think that's what it's called). LMAO.
Pizza Hut has come up with yet another new pizza: the Sicilian. Crust with garlic, basil and oregano baked in. *drool* It leaves me longing for my MTSU days, though, when Domino's had a pesto crust pizza *sniffle* Damn them for discontinuing that and the twisty bread. Bastards. All that makes me wish Surge was still around, too. Grrr. I also used to drink Wild Cherry Pepsi by the caseful (LOL), but that was before I realized how much sugar is in regular soda! I wish they made diet, but Diet Cherry Coke is passable. *shrug* We may order pizza, but I doubt it. Maybe on Friday after I can borrow money from my parents, which I am soooooo dreading. Ugh.
Nick has come up with a new obsession: finding an extra computer monitor so he can run two monitors at once. WTF do you need two monitors for? What IS it with these computer geeks? Oh well, I guess it's better than if he begged to use mine. *shrug*
