I'm insane, obviously

I hate sewing. I really do.

So what did I do when someone posted a link to the Royal College of Needlework on the Girls Own list (yes, I'm about two months behind for fellow GO-ers)?

Obviously I clicked on it and started wondering whether I could arrange to be in England for an Introduction to Embroidery course at some stage.

Crazy.

I turned the heel on my Fountain Foxgloves and checked the fit. They're perfect around the foot this time, but even with my mistake on the arch expansion they're only just long enough (or possibly half an inch to short). Huh. I'll have to replicate that mistake on the second sock. The good thing is that they'll fit into shoes much better, although it looks like I still need to calculate my rounds per inch better. Ho, hum, I'm learning and the pair after this will be perfect *nods*

Parents arrive tonight. I still need to tidy up the sofa table and clean the sink. Today is also bathroom cleaning day. The place is going to be spotless by the time they arrive.
