*flump*
Way too much shopping. We've all decided to start buying stuff to leave over here so that packing is a bit easier - seeing as we're here every year or so - so today was mall trip day. I deliberately didn't bring masses of stuff so I had to do the shopping, but it was thoroughly exhausting despite a stop for lunch. Mom and Da have dropped me at my aunt's while they go to the superstore. I've had a lie-down (while listening to a Doctor Who audio - David Tennant reads very well) and I think I just saw them walking up the steps on their return.
But I've got some more clothes and a gorgeously big, soft dressing gown (house-coat) so it was a very productive trip. Stopped briefly in Chapters and spied a few books that I want to buy. The ne Lois McMaster Bujold isn't out yet so I need to check the release date on Amazon to time my return trip properly.
Tomorrow we're taking the ferry over to the city to do banking (I'm setting up my own account here to start the moving process) and eat sushi. There's a place in Halifax called I Love Sushi that I keep being assured is fabulous, but it's closed on Mondays and what day do you think I usually get to the city on? But tomorrow is Wednesday so I have my fingers firmly crossed.
Yesterday we went down to the boardwalk. There was fudge. It's evil. Some of it followed us home. Bad fudge.
