Her only way out
She's only 13 and still scard to turn out the light or to be left alone
Her brother calls her a baby and a woos
If he only new if anyone ever new how brave she really was
If they only new what happens when the lights went out and no one but him is awake to hear her cry's
The beatings she takes and the places she's is touched
It's like she's on the outside looking in and has no power to stop her pain
As her step dad takes away her innocence and leaves her with black and blues only to be seen if her cloths are off
Who new that this innocent little girl would grow up to have married a man that beats her
Because she feels that bloody lips,broken bones and burses is all she deserves
If she only told someone when she was younger what had happens
Maybe
Just maybe someone would have told her it wasn't her fault so she would have blamed herself
Maybe she would have had a life that didn't end with her holding a gun to her head
