Over 40 Ficathon

andraste wrote, it's as if this was created for us.:) (And everyone else fond of characters with some life experience behind them!) Only the prompt leaving closes at the 5th, so I had to hurry between conference arguments:
Over 40 Fest - Celebrating characters that don't get nearly enough love in fandom and original fiction.
We are a brand new Multi-fandom, Multi-media Fest with our very first round of prompting opening Sunday, April 28th after which anyone who wishes to celebrate with us will have a whole month to make fic, art, mixes, icons, gifs and podfic that feature characters over 40 as the main character. We're open to all fandoms, including original fiction and RPF and we are open to all who wish to participate. Any genre and rating is acceptable - our goal is to increase the number of fanworks and visibility of characters that are often overlooked,
