President Bartlet, after he finishes work in the Santos administration, should Sam Seaborne once again consider running for office? Will you support him?

Sam is a smart boy, which means he won't play the sacrificial lamb. There's no way voters are going to go for a third Democratic administration in a row. Nor should they. I believe in checks and balances, not to mention that any party which stays in government for too long produces far more than its share of smugness and complacency, not to mention a sense of entitlement and know it allness. Abbey, don't look at me like that. In any case, this means that whoever runs as the Democratic candidate after Santos ends up as toast. Whereas whoever runs after the Republicans had their turn again just might be credited with the renewal of the Democratic party. Now if Sam then feels up for the job, I would support him
