I liked Cary and Alicia's scene too, and I like that there's a pretty obvious line that you can draw from his decision to let bygones be bygones with L&G and Alicia, and his increasing dismay at Wendy's actions. I still don't like that Wendy is the season's villain, but it's nice that she has this effect on other characters.

Much as I enjoy Elsbeth Tascioni, I think the show is edging towards overusing her quirk. Her interview with Will was quite good (of course her assistant's name is Fantasia), but her overdone naivete with Wendy was a bit much.

I see what you mean re: Elsbeth Tascioni, though for me it's still on the right side of overusing. The next episode will tell, I presume, especially when she has more than two scenes.

I just found out the actress is married to Michael Emerson, aka Ben from Lost. Which makes me wish The Good Wife would get Emerson for a guest stint, too, because he's been so fantastic on Lost.

Ah, that's a good point about the headmistress.

I am loving to hate Wendy, so while I like her being more three-dimensional, it bothers me to have to like her (if that makes sense). But since it allowed me to love Elspeth, all is well.

It was good to see Kalinda interact with Alicia in a mostly non-tense way.

But best of all were the scenes when Diane was managing to be cool when it turned out he was really there to serve a summons, and also when he put the headlock on the summonee and then went right back to chatting up Diane.

Ah, but given how much I complained about the boo hiss two dimensionality of Blake and Bond in season 2, I appreciate they put a bit more effort into Wendy as antagonist, and use established traits (i.e. her relationship with her children).

Diane's the coolest. I want to be her if I grow up. Well, grow up more. :)

Just watched this one. Do you think that David Lee actually created that rider on the spot?

I'm afraid so.

Wow. That has so many implications. I mean I'm sure there was a rider originally. Alicia seemed sure. But it means she really made a mistake. :-(

I feel this will come back to haunt them someday.

I loved Diane as big sister too. She's so matter-of-fact sometimes. And the flirting with the Australian guy was fun. :-)
