You know, I'm game for new interpretation of myths and legends, and generally I like Ridley Scott, plus Cate Blanchett is an awesome actress, but everything I've read so far makes me stay away from the newest Robin Hood movie. Generally, you can offer Robin Hood interpretations in different flavours and I'll take them; joyfully anachronistic (hello, Disney cartoon and Eroll Flynn film, both of whom I love), aiming for the mysticism angle (hello Robin of Sherwood), bittersweet metaphor for aging actors (Robin and Marian) or going for an attempt at a plausible historical setting (Parke Godwin's Sherwood for the win! Best Sheriff ever!). And of course, there's always this:

Yes, I think I'll go with a Q-Pid rewatch instead and rejoice in Ira Steven Behr's (= scriptwriter, later went on to become one of the DS9 head honchos) one liners, Q/Picard UST, Vash/Beverly bonding and Worf not being a merry man. Huzzah!
