Loke had better not be dead. Srsly. Or stay dead. And if he comes back, I really hope he brings Boone with him. :)

And while I am generally a Jack fan, I am seriously hoping for some explanation of his behavior over the last few eps, because he's been annoyign even me.

As for Heroes making you an emotional wreck. WORD. I am quite nervous because I'm not sure yet exactly how much they are willing to fuck with me, but I'm sure it's a lot. And I'm sure there wll be one hell of a cliffhanger that will have me gnashing my teeth till next September.

Oh, don't worry. Jack is the lead, if anyone is, so undoubtedly there will be some explanation as to why he couldn't explain anything to his friends which will make it look all understandable; that a leading man's perogative, alas. The narrative tends to support them.

Cliffhanger: yes, I suspect there will be one. Retrospectively, I'm so glad I didn't get hooked on Farascape until that show was nearly over, because they had incredibly mean cliffhangers at the ends of their seasons. BSG and Babylon 5 cliffhangers I was generally okay with. But Heroes might do me in...

Regardless of who or what or if something on the show goes boom, fandom most definitely will. I keep coming back to how floored I was by Five Years Gone and knowing the finale will have to way more than top that, in terms of OMGWTFPOLARBEAR!s, effects and torturing our characters.

And considering how heavy on the ground the Peter & Claire moments have been last few eps, I gotta imagine there's going to be at least a little more mindfuck for us in that department. In all the departments, really.

Is it Monday yet? How about now?

Yes, yes, and YES!

And I have yet a third production team trying to do me in, with SPN this week. I might crack yet! :O

I knew it would turn out a good thing that I don't watch SPN. I'm not sure I could handle more torture-by-production-team...

I'll believe Locke is really dead when... Well, I was going to say, "when I see his lifeless body stiffening in the sun," but on this show, I'm not actually sure whether even that guarantees anything. :)

"Who the hell are Nikki and Paolo?" True, it doesn't, and yes, I won't believe it, either.

I'm with you on Locke: he's my favourite (with Hurley next) and don't they know how incredibly boring Jack is? I was furious when Kate told him about Naomi "because he ought to know". Aaaugh! And that tattoo ep was a wasted hour of my life.

I have hope that Locke will survive because the island and/or Jacob needs him, and he got shot where his kidney used to be, so maybe he hasn't got that much internal damage.

I have hope, too, and good point about the kidney - which btw emphasizes the Ben/Father parellels -; the island will come through for him!

Jack: alas I don't think they do...

I just watched the ep again. Locke was shot higher than where a kidney would be. :-(

No, belay that. Kidneys are above the waist, so stet, but I think a lung might also be in the way.

absolutely love the review, but in regards to Locke's health, let us not forget that this is a man who survived being chucked out a fifth floor building and this is also the island that made a crippled man walk.

Surviving such a petty thing as a point blank gunshot to the torso should be a minor inconvenience.
