Jossverse, Harry Potter, X-Men... who says people aren't busy in the summer?

Still basking in everyone else's creativity. Also, writing Warren is dangerous, people. You find yourself compelled to specifically seek for fanfic starring one or all of the Trio even stronger than before. I was successful in this quest when discovering the following little gem, which reads like a missing BTVS episode. An early season 3 one: Buffy is still hiding Angel, Willow and Xander have just fallen in lust, Faith is new in town and Ethan Rayne has just left after pulling his Band Candy stunt. And there is a school play to be performed. Yes, gentle reader, this is the heroic and inspiring tale of Andrew training the demon monkeys to wreak havoc at Sunnydale High's production of Romeo and Juliet. Want to know who starred in the title roles? (Larry and Harmony). Who actually got the credit for Andrew's endeavours? Read Coming Through The Keyholes and find out.

It's one of these ideas where you wonder why nobody else has done this yet - obvious, once someone actually made the effort. Like all great ideas. In this case, a vid tribute to Joss Whedon, using scenes from his "written and directed" episodes in BTVS, AtS and Firefly (insert appropriate curse at Fox here). Plus his cameo as Numfar, which is inspired. Appropriately, the song used is Nobody Does It Better, and you'll find the vid in question here. While you're at this subsection of the site, have a look at the other vid the owner has created, which is a tribute to Darla and Connor. Having written about them only some weeks ago, it struck me as, pardon the pun, haunting. For Darla fans like myself, the entire site is a treat:

There are some pairings whose appeal will remain an eternal mystery to me. But to each their own. Still, it's fun to discover someone else having the same problem. In this case, blackfall gifts us with a funny and barbed take on Harry/Draco here. She sums up my main objection brilliantly like this: Draco is the Hogwarts version of Dudley. Why not ship the other form of H/D and have all that super-kewl incestuous fun?

It had to happen, since Peter Wingfield, who played Methos in Highlander, had a small part in X2. But I doubt few authors could have pulled it off have as well as Te, who wrote a terrific X-Men/HL crossover, starring Methos and Yuriko.

You are Amanda, fiesty and quick and with
questionable morals. Deep down, though, you've
really got a good heart. Either that, or you
pretend because you're in love with the biggest
boyscout ever.

Which 'Highlander' immortal are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

The questions were a bit obvious, but otherwise, go me. I always adored Amanda.
