I read A Thousand Ships last year and enjoyed it. The structure gave me a few problems to start with but in the end I liked the way it built to give a more rounded picture of all the women.

Natalie Haynes has a radio series/podcast on BBC Sounds called Natalie Haynes Stands Up For the Classics. I’ve only listened to a couple of the but they are quite entertaining. I’ve also seen her live as part of a discussion on the British Museum’s Troy exhibition back in pre-pandemic days. The discussion was a disaster due to a terrible chairwoman but Natalie Haynes was very entertaining. At one point I really thought she was going to throttle said chairwoman and if she had the whole audience would have applauded :)
