My problem with TTSS is that while I've seen the BBC production of the sequel - Smiley's People - I have not seen the veritable original, only the much later movie. All the others should be possible.

Oh cool!

I have some *very* old videotapes here with TTSS.

Only recently had time to watch the movie version, coincidentally on the death day of John Le Carré. It made me want to see the old version again. While there's a lot I liked about the movie (brilliant Gary Oldman for one), it felt rushed. I have to admit that I also forgot most details of the old version, so I'll see if I try to get those tapes running or search for another version.
