I've got nothing either. I presume the thinking is that people use the local elections to protest vote but no-one seems to be considering that they might be protesting *against* Brexit rather than for it. It is true that local elections are often skewed by protest voting but the gains for the anti-Brexit parties seem to me to be very marked, particularly as London and other Remain metropolitan areas weren't voting this time.
