This was the big one, the über-ambitious one, the „I want to write the ULTIMATE Penny Dreadful story" one.

To establish background: like many another watcher, the Penny Dreadful season 3 and show finale left me dissatisfied with our heroine’s fate. However, in my case fannish ire was strangely missing because I immediately saw it as a great set

I KNEW IT. This fic might be my favourite of this year's Yuletide batch thus far. You did such a fabulous job. I want this to be Season 4 of the show. Seriously.

(And I didn't even notice Dorian was missing. Haha.)

I remember talking to you about the idea for this story in the comments of my finale review, so you were there right at the very beginning of inspiration. :) I put my heart and soul in this story, so I'm both over the moon when someone says they liked it, and ridiculously crushed when it seems to be ignored.

re: Dorian, he, well, it helps that the pov characters are Vanessa, who lost what interest she had in Dorian ages ago, and Malcolm, who never had any to begin with. :)
