Thanks to Netflix, I finally got around to watching The Eagle, aka the movie based on Rosemary Sutcliff's novel The Eagle of the Ninth. :D You discovered Clone Wars! I never got very into the Extended Universe but finally gave this a try a little over a year ago and !!! Ahsoka! Ahsoka and Anakin! And the clones, and other relationships that I will not mention because I can't remember when they got stories. :D

I've arrived at season 3 now, and continue to be delighted. Bail Organa fleshed out! Padmé shown at political work! And while I groaned a bit when hearing via fannish osmosis about the Ewan McGregor in joke of giving Obi-Wan a love interest named Satine, the actual Satine turned out to be a great character (and her relationship with Obi-Wan not the dominating character trait!).

There's definitely a longer post coming.
