Hello everybody,
Sitting at the hair dresser yesterday I flipped through a magazine and stumbled upon a nice list on what to do before a holiday. Some of the advice was just utter nonsense (like watching YouTube videos on how to pack without wrinkling your clothes) but some I liked. So before my trip I will do the following:
+ start holiday blog
+ read travel guides at bookshop (and buy some)
+ make a travel scrap book
+ hang up a map
+ make playlists for the trip
For my playlists I divided my trip into Scotland (Edingburgh, Glasgow, Isle of Skye), The North (Newcastle, York, Manchester), The Midlands & Wales (Birmingham, Cardiff) and The South (London, Dover) and added the bands/singers according to their origin. That was actually quite interesting because I didn't know where some of the music comes from that I listen to. Sometimes I didn't even know if the band was from the States or the UK but thanks to Wikipedia I sorted them all through.
