Birthdays...:-d
Yea, I didn't have too much to write about today...I really haven't had any real desire to write (which is really odd, Yea I know) but I am not really all that surprised since all the deaths which have happened in the last few months to either me or people I love and care about (and therefore, involve me).
Work has been stressful. It doesn't help that our flooring at work really isn't padded well and as a result my ankles ache by the time I get home for being on the 7 hours during a shift. It literally is walking around on a slab of concrete, which is under tile or some thin commercial padding and carpet. It also doesn't help people seem to be messing up the store more than normal lately and honestly after folding the same table for the 3rd time you have a tendency to get annoyed. Especially when they mess it up right after you finished the table...yea, those are my favorite types of people...
As you all know today is my birthday. I am 26 today I feel old. *sighs*
A bit of good news, my niece was born a few days ago She was a nice early birthday present on 4/29-09 at 3:27pm She weighed 7 lbs 11 oz and was 21 inches long. Her name is Caitlin Rei. Yea, you know this aunt is a proud one (grins)
I just finished reading the book "A Child Called 'it' by Dave Pelzer. It's crazy how poorly his own mother treated him and within my small world, I have no idea as to how a parent could abuse a child. Children are a gift from God and are a blessing I really liked the book, though, and cannot wait to read the sequels. Hopefully, I won't spill coffee on my grandmother's copies so I can read it right away instead of waiting until I am able to afford her a new copy.
*yawns* I think that is all going ot be for now. Bed time for me here NIGHT!
