newgirl and more virus stuff

we had a  new girl start at work today. i think she is going to rock it pretty well.  i hope she is anyway. i don't know if she seemed to grasp the whole situation with how we do things faster than i did because she is smarter than me, or if we have just gotten better at explaining it. regardless she already flossed some skillz with the graphics stuff that I was pretty impressed with. we will figure out her strengths and dole out the work accordingly.

my computron is still infected. the remaining virus is called "google installer". Every 14 minutes a pop up box that says "google installer has encountered a problem and neds to quit" comes up. It looks and acts just like the regular winXP box that comes up when there is a legit problem...appearing to give you the choice to send info to MS about the issue or just close the window. It is no where near as intrusive as that "Malware Defense" thing I had to deal with over the weekend, but it is still -annoying enough to annoy me-. it is annoying enough that i have stepped up my plan to get a new comp. i know getting a new comp is a chikenshit/expensive way to avoid a stupid pop up box every 14 minutes, but that isn't the only reason i want a new comp. I want one because i CAN want one. that is all the reason i really need right?

i will wrestle with the decision to buy for a zillion more hours before anything happens. also complicating the issue...i tried my crackilacked CS3 on my folks new Win7 machine and it didn't want to jive with dreamweaver.
