R I N G T H E A L A R M
...decided to just burn a couple of discs to take to the Bocce fest. My strategy was to go full on 80's era dancehall style. First off I grouped all the recent finds I grabbed in the last week or so, and now I am going through my archive of PROVEN tunes from the handpickedDUB casts. The end result is shaping up to be absolutely sick, every tune rock a solid murderah. They run a lot of ska-era fare and straight up dub up there in Greenville so this dancehall / toasting strategy is going to work out well. In fact, the sheer amount of toasting tunes I have accumulated will probably throw them for a loop. The worst thing you could do is come to play any kind of reggae and step to me with a weak crate of tunes, because I come with the hardest sound around. I mean a relentless barrage of non-stop hits. Every time a soundclash...EVERY time.
I cannot go without mashing the place to bits, it just wouldn't be right. Once a soundbwoy always a soundbwoy as I would say. Just need a reason. This is the one time every year that I get to hang out with some folks who are also purveyors of these particular styles of tunes.
