Holy crap I am learning a bunch by studying the CSS Zen Garden. Have you seen CSSZG?
Heres how it works. There is a pre-made HTML file with all the
s + classes already integrated, which you are supposed to take and work out your own CSS for. You aren't supposed to change the HTML at all...every design is a variation using exactly the same content. Then you submit it, and if they like it, it will get posted. You can examine the .css for every design. Last time I tried to dive in and participate, I couldn't come up with anything even close to submittable. This time around I am pretty close and getting closer.
