public speaking vs the suite life vs get wysiwyggy with it
Today I had to do a presentation on using "actions" in Photoshop. There were a few high school students there to observe, and I rinsed it good and proper. The assignment was to compose a -motivational poster-, and allong the way record and apply some actions, as well as annotating the actions with the little digital post-it notes. It was one part of a three part project, as part of a three person group.
What I learned today though, is that I am a gigantic freakin perv. One of the high school girls was kinda the hotsecks. Am I bad? Hannah Montana (but ONLY as Hannah and NOT as Miley) and Brenda Song are on my perv list too, except that Brenda is really over 18 so it's OKAY now right? RIGHT?
>Moving back to the geekery, I found this neato program that will take a .psd file and turn it into xhtml compliant code, complete with linkotrons, rollover buttons and other nifty stuff. Its everything I wished Dreamweaver would be. Well, it MAY be...I haven't tried it yet, but I watched almost an hour of video tutorials, and if it is as easy as they make it look I will be all over it. Maybe I'll over break.
The presentation went extremely well, since I am comfortable enough around my classmates to ham it up a bit. I kept the hamming in check though, and tried to make my presentation somewhat professional. I do know that the extremely lame graphic I made for the project trounced all over theirs like a West Baltimore smack dealer beatin on his ho's. The instructor is trying to get me to take an Adobe certification test, which is like $150. I dunno f it will be worth it.
