Okay, so Espo decided to go ahead and mow in the court with the diagonal stylee. We use a court thats about twice as wide as a regulation, and boundary rules are enforced very loosely.
The mowing was successful, but the errand/supply run had a few bugs. Basically, we loaded up an entire cartload of supplies at Sam's Club, rolled up to the register, and were told that we had to pay by check. Sounded like nonsense to me (Sam, you can SUCK IT), but apparently it had something to do with trying to use Eric's restaurant Sam's Club card. So...we had to head to a regular grocery and go around and grab all the same stuff again.
The next step in the process of setting up the tourney will be bringing all the sound gear...turntables, mixer, speakers, amp, reverb unit, and mic setup down from the upstairs region, and getting it all set up.
This has been a CLASS "A" effort so far. I hope the turnout is good and that people show on time tomorrow.
After that, it's time for a practice game or two.
