nervous
Today I have to do a Powerpoint presentation in front of my class. The assignment is called Powerpoint of Interest, and the instructor didn't really explain it very much other than "come up with a presentation of anything you want that has at least 10 slides, a custom animation, a sound, and some transitions". I'm doing mine on a fictional bike race...sort of like an advert for it. The only downside is that I can do the whole presentation in about 5 minutes, and we were asked to make one that lasted about 15. I don't think that the other folks who are going before me are going to have long presentations either. I'm a -little- nervous about doing the whole -in front of the class- thing...

I'm thinking that while I save up for a new GPS, I might as well go ahead and look at bike computers, since I used the thing on my bike more than anywhere else as of late<
The "This is Reggae Music" book I am reading is fantastic. I can't put it down. SOOOOOO many mentions of obscure but historically relevant recordings I am gonna have to track down. I just finished the chapter about the roots of the rasta movement. I've heard the story told so many different ways, but by far this was the most in depth rendition of the chronology. One of these days when I have a lot of loot, I will pay good corn for an authentic Black Star Line stock certificate.
