April Handpicked DUB podcast: lovers rock
Spring has sprung...its time for Lovers Rock! Its an all vocal approach this time out, starting with a little commercial/radio friendly uptempo fare from the likes of Junior Reid and Beres Hammond, slinking into a bit deeper but still loved up fare from Tanya Stephens, Tamlins, Don Carlos and John Holt. By the end we somehow end up in spaced out territory, but still inna vocal style, featuring a blistering Kruder and Dorfmiester version of the classic Gregory Isaacs "Night Nurse", and a Fila Brazillia remix of "Climbing Up The Walls" from Radiohead.
