this weeeks playlist:
science show (radio national)
whad'ya know (npr)
motley fool (npr)
all in the mind (radio national)
car talk (npr)

Actually, none of this listening actually goes on during the day, I like to listen to these shows to go to sleep to. The thing is, some of them are either interesting enough or funny enough that I end up just laying in the dark listening through the whole show.
I am almost completely through the archive of Whad'ya Know with Micheal Feldman. Radio National is a new discovery for me but I like all the science and psychology related programs I have found there. Last night I listened to just under an hour of discussion about folks who are delusional, and it was really interesting. There was also a scary report on the main radio station people can tune into in Rowanda, and how it has gradually become less and less covert with its propaganda, and now pretty much tells people directly to go out and play a part in the violence that is happening there. This all happens during your standard issue call in request type show, the audio snippets sounding like jacked up dance music beats. A soundtrack to kill to, or to "do the work" as they put it. Apparantly one of the catchphrases that the station uses is "the graves are not yet full". Scary.
