Below is my ranking of the Season Eight episodes from "GAME OF THRONES", HBO's adaptation of George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series saga. The series was created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss:

"GAME OF THRONES" SEASON EIGHT (2019) EPISODES RANKING



1. (8.02) "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" - Jaime Lannister faces judgment for his past deeds after he arrives at Winterfell to join the fight against the White Walkers. Jon Stark reveals the truth about his past and lineage to the Iron Throne to his lover, Queen Daenerys Targaryen. Meanwhile, Winterfell prepares for the battle to come.



2. (8.01) "Winterfell" - In the season premiere, Jon and Daenerys arrive in Winterfell with her entourage and are met with skepticism from the Northern citizens. Sam Tully learns about the fate of his father and younger brother. Queen Cersei Lannister Baratheon gives Euron Greyjoy the reward he aims for. The latter’s nephew, Theon rescues his sister Yara from his uncle’s forces.



3. (8.04) "The Last of the Starks" - Following the end of Battle of Winterfell, the Targaryen-Stark alliance turn its attention toward defeating Cersei’s forces at Dragonstone and King’s Landing. Tragedy ensues. Jaime leaves Winterfell to return to Cersei.



4. (8.03) "The Long Night" - Following the arrival of the Night King and his army at Winterfell, a great battle ensues.



5. (8.06) "The Iron Throne" - Following the devastation of King’s Landing, the question of who will sit on the Iron Throne and rule Westeros is finally settled via a surprising series of events in the series’ finale.



6. (8.05) "The Bells" - Daenerys’ forces have arrived at King's Landing for the final battle between her army and Cersei’s.
