Below is a LIST of my favorite episodes from the Award-winning science-fiction television series, "STAR TREK". Created by Gene Roddenberry, the series starred William Shatner as Captain James T. Kirk:

FAVORITE "STAR TREK" (1966-1969) EPISODES



1. (1.28) "City on the Edge of Forever" - When a temporarily insane Dr. Leonard McCoy of the U.S.S. Enterprise accidentally changes history and destroys his time, Captain James T. Kirk and First Officer, Commander Spock, follow him to Depression-era Manhattan to prevent the disaster. Joan Collins guest starred.



2. (2.15) "The Trouble with Tribbles" - Kirk must deal with Federation bureaucrats, a Klingon battle cruiser and a peddler who sells hungry little creatures as pets to protect a space station with a vital grain shipment. William Schallert, William Campbell, Stanley Adams, Michael Pataki and Charlie Brill guest starred.



3. (2.04) "Mirror, Mirror" - A transporter accident places Captain Kirk and his landing party in an alternate universe, where the Federation has become a barbaric and brutal empire, ruled by Humans in this first Trek episode to feature the Mirror Universe. BarBara Luna guest starred.



4. (1.14) "Balance of Terror" - Kirk must decide on his response, when a Romulan ship makes a destructively hostile armed probe of Federation territory. Mark Lenard, Paul Comi and Lawrence Montaigne guest starred.



5. (2.01) "Amok Time" - In the throes of his Pon Farr mating period, Spock must return to Vulcan to meet his fiancée, with whom he had been betrothed since childhood. Arlene Matel, Celia Lovsky and Lawrence Montaigne guest starred.



6. (3.23) "All Our Yesterdays" - When Kirk, Spock and McCoy investigate the disappearance of a doomed planet's population, they find themselves trapped in different periods of that world's past. Mariette Hartley and Ian Wolfe guest starred.



7. (3.02) "The Enterprise Incident" - An apparently insane Kirk deliberately orders the Enterprise to enter the Romulan Neutral Zone, where the ship is immediately captured by the enemy. Joanne Linville and Jack Donner guest starred.



8. (1.22) "Space Seed" - While on patrol in deep space, the Enterprise's crew find and revive a genetically engineered world conqueror and his compatriots from Earth's late 20th century. Ricardo Montalban and Madlyn Rhue guest starred.



9. (2.06) "The Doomsday Machine" - The Enterprise crew encounters the wrecked U.S.S. Constellation and its commodore, who is determined to stop the giant planet-destroying robot ship that had killed his crew. William Windom guest starred.



10. (2.26) "Assignment: Earth" - While back in time, observing 1968 Earth, the Enterprise crew encounters the mysterious Gary Seven, who has his own agenda on the planet. Robert Lansing and Teri Garr guest starred.
