Top Favorite "LOST" Season Five (2009) Episodes

Below is a list of my top favorite episodes from Season Five of "LOST" (2004-2010). The series was created by Jeffrey Lieber, J. J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof; and produced by the latter and Carlton Cuse:

TOP FAVORITE "LOST" SEASON FIVE (2009) EPISODES



1. (5.06) "316 - Flashbacks reveal how the Oceanic Six survivors and former Others leader Ben Linus ended up back on the island after nearly three years. (TIE)



2. (5.08) "LaFleur" - Now led by James "Sawyer" Ford after John Locke's departure, the time traveling survivors left on the island find themselves in the 1970s, where they become members of the Dharma Initiative. (TIE)



3. (5.03) "Jughead" - Back on the island, the time traveling survivors meet the Others from 1954, including Charles Widmore and Eloise Hawking. They also discover that Richard Alpert is the same age as he was in 2004 and a hydrogen bomb left behind by the U.S. Army.



4. (5.16-5.17) "The Incident" - In 1977, Dr. Jack Shephard and Sayid Jarrah proceed to continue with Dr. Daniel Faraday's plan to drop the Jughead bomb on the island's exposed electromagnetic energy in order to prevent a deadly incident and time travel to September 2004, the day Oceanic 815 had originally crashed. Meanwhile, a resurrected Locke assigns Ben a task that involves the fate of the island's protector Jacob in 2007.



5. (5.05) "This Place Is Death" - Jin Kwon reunites with the other time traveling survivors. They accompany Locke to the Orchid Station in order for him to leave the island and fulfill his mission. Back in Los Angeles, Ben offers proof of Jin's survival to Sun Kwon, who threatens to kill him revenge for her husband's "death".



6. (5.12) "Dead Is Dead" - In 2007, Ben informs Locke of his plans to summon the Smoke Monster and atone for his daughter's death. Flashbacks reveal the falling-out between Ben and Widmore in the past.
