Below is a list of my favorite episodes from Season Six of "GAME OF THRONES", HBO's adaptation of George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series saga. The series was created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss:

FIVE FAVORITE EPISODES OF "GAME OF THRONES" SEASON SIX (2016)



1. (6.08) "No One" - Brienne of Tarth arrives at the besieged Riverrun to convince Bryden Tully to surrender to the Lannister forces and help the Starks in the North. A wounded Arya Stark seeks shelter from her previously intended victim, the actress Lady Crane. Jaime Lannister uses a captive Edmure Tully to convince Riverrun to surrender.



2. (6.04) "Book of the Stranger" - Accompanied by Brienne and the latter's squire Podrick Payne, Sansa Stark arrives at Castle Black and reunites with her half-brother Jon Snow. Tyrion Lannister makes a deal with Meereen's slave masters. Jorah Mormont and Daario Naharis sneak into Vaes Dothrak camp in order to rescue their queen, Daenerys Targaryen.



3. (6.05) "The Door" - Sansa and Jon make plans to retake the North from Ramsay Bolton. Arya is given another chance by Jaqen H'ghar to prove herself as an assassin. Yara Greyjoy finds her rule in the Iron Islands tested by her uncle Euron Greyjoy. Bran Stark discovers the origin of the White Walkers.



4. (6.02) "Home" - During his training with the elderly Three-Eyed Raven, Bran has a vision from his father's past. King Tommen Baratheon meets with his mother Cersei about the High Sparrow. At Castle Black, Davos Seaworth asks Melisandre for a miracle regarding Jon.



5. (6.10) "The Winds of Winter" - Ser Loras Tyrell and Cersei stand trial by the Faith Militant. Bran discovers a long-kept secret. Lord Walder Frey has an uninvited guest. And Daenerys prepares to set sail for Westeros with her entourage and army.
