Five Favorite Episodes of "LOST IN SPACE" Season Two (2019)
Below is a list of my favorite episodes from Season Two of the Netflix remake of the 1965-1968 science-fiction series, "LOST IN SPACE". Written by Matt Sazama, Burk Sharpless and Zack Estrin; the series stars Molly Parker and Toby Stephens:
FIVE FAVORITE EPISODES OF "LOST IN SPACE" SEASON TWO (2019)
1. (2.08) "Mutiny" - While Dr. Maureen Robinson leads a mutiny to force the Resolute's command staff to rescue colonists stranded on a nameless planet below, the colony ship's Intelligence Officer Hastings visits John Robinson to deliver an ultimatum. Their younger daughter Penny tries to convince their son Will that his Robot has changed.
2. (2.10) "Ninety-Seven" - The Robinson family's mission to save another robot, Scarecrow, takes an unexpected turn; throwing the Resolute into chaos. The Robinsons' oldest offspring, Judy Robinson, hatches a plan to get a ship with the colonists' children to Alpha Centauri.
3. (2.06) "Severed" - A metal-eating parasite from the planet below quickly spreads throughout one section of the Resolute, leaving Penny, the con artist June Harris aka Zoe Smith and friends stranded in tight quarters. Will and Maureen set out with advanced technology specialist Ben Adler to find the Robot on the planet below.
4. (2.02) "Precipice" - While the Robinsons' individual spacecraft, Jupiter 2, remains stranded on a watery planet; Penny and Maureen become trapped in a mysterious metal trench. Meanwhile, mechanic/smuggler Don West falls prey to a nasty toxin.
5. (2.05) "Run" - After John ends up trapped in a collapsed well in the previous episode, he becomes injured after an attempt to climb out. His predicament sends Judy on a frantic race across the planet's dangerous terrain in order to treat him. Penny spies on Harris/Smith . . . with help from her friend Vijay Dhar.
