FAVORITE "LOIS AND CLARK: THE NEW ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN" (1993-1997) EPISODES
1. (2.18) "Tempus Fugtive" - Lane Davies and Terry Kiser are superb as time traveling villain Tempus, who wants to kill Superman before he becomes an adult, and legendary writer H.G. Wells, who needs Lois and Clark's help to stop him in this first-rate episode.
2. (1.12) "All Shook Up" - After preventing an asteroid from impacting upon Earth, Clark Kent/Superman loses his memory and forgets how to use his powers. Martha and Jonathan Kent arrive to help Clark regain his memory, so that he can become Superman and stop a fragment of the asteroid still heading to Earth. A first-rate remake of an old "Adventures of Superman" episode.
3. (1.08) "The Green Glow of Home" - In this tense-filled episode, an Environmental Protection Agency report leads Lois and Clark to Smallville in order to investigate. They discover that Jason Trask and Bureau 39 is after kryptonite to be used to kill Superman.
4. (3.17) "Seconds" - In this finale of a three-episode arc about Clark Kent and Lois Lane's aborted wedding, Clark races to find Lex Luthor and an amnesiac Lois before the former billionaire can convince her to kill Clark and leave Metropolis forever.
5. (4.15) "Lois and Clarks" - Former nemesis Tempus returns to trap Superman aka Clark Kent in a time travel window and continues to use a subliminal device to turn Metropolis' citizens against the superhero. Meanwhile Lois Lane and H.G. Wells seek the help of a Superman from an alternate dimension to get him back.
6. (3.13) "The Dad Who Came in From the Cold" - A visit from Jimmy Olsen's father to Metropolis prompts a revelation of the latter's profession as a spy.
7. (1.17) "The Rival" - This humorous episode featured a reunion between Lois Lane and her college rival, reporter Linda King of The Metropolis Star. The two rivals and Clark investigate a serious of accidents, and discover that The Star is causing them for stories.
8. (1.02) "Strange Visitor (From Another Planet)" - In this episode, Clark first learns about his origins and the sinister Jason Trask of Bureau 39, who views Superman as a threat to humanity.
9. (2.14) "Top Copy" - Raquel Welch plays a television journalist, who is also an assassin hired to find Superman's identity and possibly kill him.
10. (2.22) "And the Source Is . . ." - Having discovered Tempus' diary, a criminal attempts to blackmail Superman into killing Lois Lane, or he will kill Clark's parents. Clark finally summons the courage to ask for Lois to marry him.
