Below is a list of my top favorite episodes from Season Four of "LOST" (2004-2010). The series was created by Jeffrey Lieber, J. J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof; and produced by the latter and Carlton Cuse.

TOP FAVORITE "LOST" SEASON FOUR (2008) EPISODES

1. (4.12-4.14) "There's No Place Like Home" - In the season finale, the Oceanic 815 castaways deal with deal with mercenaries who had been pretending to rescue them. Later, five of the survivors and a baby, dubbed the Oceanic Six, find themselves closer to rescue after leaving the island on a life raft.

2. (4.09) "The Shape of Things to Come" - A team of mercenaries from the recently arrived freighter, the S.S. Kahana, attacks the group at the abandoned Others camp looking for the Others' former leader, Ben Linus; with his adoptive daughter Alex as a hostage. Meanwhile, the doctor from the Kahana washes up on shore at Jack's camp, and Kahana passenger Daniel Faraday provides some distressing news to Jack.

3. (4.08) "Meet Kevin Johnson" - Michael Dawson's journey from escaping the island to working as Ben's spy aboard the Kahuna is revealed, as well as his mission. Ben tells Alex and her biological mother Danielle Rousseau to leave the abandoned Others camp and go to the island temple, but they are ambushed on the way by the Kahuna's mercenaries.

4. (4.05) "The Constant" - During the helicopter ride to the ship, castaway Desmond Hume's consciousness begins jumping back and forth between present day 2004 and 1996. He is forced to find Daniel Faraday in 1996 in order to get answers and stop the jumps.

5. (4.02) "Confirmed Dead" - The surviving members of the supposed "rescue team" from the Kahuna are scattered around the island after a helicopter problem. However, once located, they reluctantly reveal that they are indeed not there to rescue the Oceanic castaways.
