Below is a list of my favorite episodes from Season One of "THE PUNISHER", the Marvel Netflix adaptation of the Marvel Comics hero. Created by Steve Lightfoot, the series starred Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle aka The Punisher:
FIVE FAVORITE EPISODES OF "THE PUNISHER" SEASON ONE (2017)
1. (1.05) "Gunner" - Former Marine Frank Castle aka the Punisher and former NSA analyst David Leiberman aka Micro search for answers from a reluctant witness to a political scandal surrounding a past mission in Afghanistan.
2. (1.10) "Virtue of the Vicious" - NYPD Sergeant Brett Mahoney investigates an attack upon an anti-gun senator named Stan Ori by interviewing different witnesses.
3. (1.04) "Resupply" - Homeland Security agents Dinah Madini and Sam Stein plan an operaton to prevent the theft of illegal weapons and have a violent encounter with Frank, David and an unknown third party.
4. (1.12) "Home" - Frank makes a deal with is former best friend-turned-enemy Billy Russo to swap himself and David for the latter's kidnapped children. However, their deal is endangered by Billy's boss, C.I.A. Director of Operations William Rawlins, who simply wants Frank dead, once and for all.
5. (1.09) "Front Toward Enemy" - Following a deadly explosion, reporter Karen Page, lands in a bomber's crosshairs, much to his displeasure. Meanwhile, Frank's best friend and former Marine, Curtis Hoyle, makes a grisly discovery.
