Foolin' around on amazon.com again...

So it occurs to me that all the money I'm thinking of spending on cars would be so much better spent at amazon.com...

Twenty minutes of perusing, and I've already got $87 worth of a wishlist.

"watching people speed-run through Mario games isn't my idea of a great time."

this is why you fail.

*grin*

Ass-nugget :)

I write pre-ANSI C for work. I'm allowed to dabble in C# if I want.

Every second of every day spent playing video games is not worth ten minutes in a Porsche Boxster S. So nyah.

what kind of silly logic is that?
the hell do you get from a porsche boxster s that is so much better than a game?

oh boy i get to waste asstons of money to use a car that immediately shows what a flaming douche i am. bonus - i also get to not go nearly as fast as the car could go due to my living in the fucking city!

brilliant analysis, khaaaaaaan

You're right. I'd much rather go out and waste my life in front of a TV pressing buttons. I digs me some flashing lights, man. Hours and hours, spent hunched in front of a TV, pretending I'm saving the world from aliens or rescuing princesses from castles. mmm.

I suppose that does make sense. I mean, after all, the alternative is only going out, driving in the sun to an autocross course, practicing your driving until you get _really_ good at it, getting discounts on your insurance, meeting new people at the track, hanging out with friends... you're right. Mario is a better bet. How could I not see that?

I'm going to go buy an Xbox right now! And then, spend more money on games, and then spend lots of time playing those games, in my little house, so I can waste away those long, tedious hours! Who needs all that time, anyway?

Yeah. Video games. That's where it's at, man.

the same arguments could really be applied both ways.
i've met plenty of friends thru gaming.
i don't even want to hear about driving in the sun, since i'm about to take my 8th keys vacation.

this has been fun :)

video games = problem solving skills.

You're right about the arguments :)

Dude, to be totally honest, I totally miss hanging out with you watching you play Third Strike and SVC vs. Capcom. Between you, Stick, Pacer and crew, I don't think I've ever seen a meaner Team Dan.

8th Keys vacation? Nice. Didn't realize you already had had seven. I'm jealous.
