I got the permanent job offer and I've decided to accept it.
Yes, I am nervous (and a little sad that my roving days are over), but in its own way, the news comes as a relief. No more fretting over where the next paycheck is coming from! No more trying to work out how to get to the workplace I'm due at today!
I won't start until the 4th November (Melbourne Cup Day!) due to the termination period for my current work contract and a leetle trip down to Melbourne for Armageddon convention (assorted actors and artists, the only one of which I really know being David Hewlett - but I'm not going for the guests) that's going to go from Friday afternoon to Monday morning.
