Hope you are feeling better soon, darl. Be very damn thankful that you were under a general anaesthetic. I was under a local when they pulled out two of my teeth. The pressure to your head .... WOWIEEE. Not fun. But now you can eat ... err ... ICE CREAM!

Or yogurt if you live in my house ...

Glad to hear everything went well.

Had all four wisdom teeth taken out over 10 years ago and I had to be sedated for the procedure. Not fun.

I was lucky to only need two out. And this was just an independant extraction for a trouble-tooth that wasn't going to get any better...

The sedation is okay...it's the getting over it all later that's icky.

I feel for you. I had the same thing about 4 weeks ago. It made me quite Ill before it came out and took ages (far longer than usual) to heal. i had a big hole too and after the extraction took ages to stop bleeding.

I didnt get put out for it, but the local he used made my stomach funny too.

I seem to be lucky in these things - I heal pretty fast.

I usually heal fast too! but they had messed around and it was infected.

Have you tried rinsing with hot salt water? it helps A lot.

Infections. :-/ They put me on antibiotics a day or two before to make sure nothing funky happened.

Hmm. Forgot about the rinsing out with salt water... Thanks for reminding me!
