COUNTDOWN TILL VALENTINE'S DAY: 28 DAYS!!!!!
My dad woke me up before he left for work, at about a quarter to 8. He does this so i'm half-awake for when my alarm goes off, so I actually get up. I could hear the rip-roaring winds outside as I drifted back to sleep. I was woken up by my phone ringing. It was my dad telling me to make sure I was safe with the weather and all. I asked him what time it was and said 8:56. I looked at my alarm clock. It re-set itself and it said 12:55. Meaning, the power went out ONE MINUTE before my alarm was supossed to go off. What are the odds?! So I managed to still be ready on time. I knew the winds were crazy but I brought my umbrella anyway, because I anticipated the bus would take a little longer because of the weather. Well, I was right.....sort of. There I am with my heavy shoulder bag, my purse and my umbrella, trying to hold all of them at the same time. I have to hold on to the umbrella's fabric to keep it from blowing up and flying away. Meanwhile, the bottoms of my pants are soaked and water from the umbrella is dripping down the arms of my coat. My shoulder was killing me from the weight of all my books and I was more uncomfortable than i've ever been. I waited out there for 50 minutes before I gave up. I was nearly in tears and I just couldn't take it anymore. I walked back to my house. It didn't matter anymore, no matter what I would miss my first class and probablly even my second. So I came back home and called my mom and she told me something happened on the GWB and all the buses were backed up, the weather just added to this. So I basically just stayed home today. I had no other way of getting there. My parents, grandfather, and aunt were all at work and I couldn't take the bus so I ended up staying at home. I e-mailed all my professors and explained the situation to them so they knew I wasn't dropping or anything like that. So I went on Monday for nothing and now I couldn't go on the day I had to go. AGH MY LIFE. Lolz. So I basically just chilled at home, watched some TV and played some Animal Crossing and whatever. Talked ot Dana for a while. Haven't spoken to Justin at all today, though I left him a voicemail. I actually had a surprise for a friend today. My friend Greg T had mentioned to me that he was going to be going to TRL today, since Yellowcard is his favorite band and they were going to be there. So, last night I set it up to record on my DVR in case he got on camera at all. OMG! I was watching it while it aired and he was on camera SO MUCH. While they were interviewing the band, he was idrectl in the backround. Everytime they went to Vanessa, they were sitting right there. SHE EVEN SAT ON HIS LAP! WTF?! So that's not the best part. I surprised him by telling him that I can put it on DVD so he can keep it forever! Isn't that awesome?! I know, I try. That was my good deed for the day. I'm glad because he's realli REALLI happy that I did this for him out of the blue. Glad I could make someone happy, I know this will mean a lot to him. It's my birthday present to him, since his birthday was a few weeks ago. Then my parents came home and my dad made that awesome pasta with shrimp and clams inc lam sauce. I love that stuff, it's so good. My dad put all his CDs on my computer back in March but didn't even tell me about it till last night. The whole day, i've been putting this music in my iTunes. It's taking FOREVER though. I started around 3 with 3 Doors Down and i'm only up to Fred Astaire. This is going to take so long. Lolz. It's worth it though, it's awesome music. A lot of classic rock. Then began my night of TV-watching. It started with One Tree Hill, which was realli good. Then with Lost, which was AWESOME, of course, because it was an episode about Jack (a.k.a. my husband. Sorri Justin, I still love you. Lolz.) Then I just watched Invasion, which was also realli fuckin suspenseful. Haha I nearly had a heart attack. Now, i'm probablly gunna call Justin and go to bed. I have to get up at 6:30. Nite all.
