Detox Diary Part 3

Apr 05, 2006 09:44

Ok, so I ignored the detox diary yesterday, because I was spiteful due to the lack of tasty foods in my life. Here's a quick run-through:

Monday Night's Dinner:
Barley, Lentil, and Brown Rice Stew. Ugh. Sure, it's delicious and nutritious and shit, but only when you can actually put sausage in it. I'm not sure if I was supposed to eat barley, but oh well. It's over and done with. Snacks included asian pears [which are blander than bland], hot 'just veggies' [those delicious dehydrated vegetable bits], and some raw green beans. Oh, my dessert was raw rolled oats with honey.

Tuesday Detox Diary:
Morning is never a good time for me. I routinely skip breakfast. Yesterday was no exception. When I got to the office, I had leftovers from Monday, and then ate the rest of my dried papaya spears, as well as a can of organic split pea soup [eeewww]. I had a pear as a snack, as well as some dry rolled oats.

In the evening, I went straight to the shooting range with Alina. I had a banana and some water along the way. When I got home, I had some potatoes cooked with a little bit of olive oil, some curry, and salt and pepper. I made an assload, and that kept me happy for a bit. As a snack, I had half a pint of honey bunch grape tomatoes slathered in salt. Those were pretty damn tasty. My cheating of the day consisted of three drags from a cigarette [which made me downright sick] and apricots with sulfur dioxide as a preservative.

Today's Detox Diary:
I Hate Cake. I Hate Coffee. I Hate Granola and Milk and Yogurt and Cheese......

Fuck this. Today's breakfast was some apricots and some tomatoes and I swear to God if I'm not perfectly cleansed [and a few lbs lighter] by Saturday I'll kill someone
