Yesterday was a pretty good day. When I got home from work, Jess and I went to the gym. When we got home, we went swimming. After a shower, I made French Onion soup. mmm. We then watched Cool Runnings. I thought it was fitting, being that the olympics are starting (even if it is the summer olympics, and not the winter olympics as in Cool Runnings). I miss John Candy. Sigh. I can still remember the day he died. I was in 8th grade. I was down in Tucson competing in Science Olympiad. I heard the tragic news on the T.V., and it totally depressed me. Here's to you, John Candy.

I'm looking forward to San Diego tomorrow. It's a very short trip, but I'll love it just the same.
