Fridays are going to be blog days, I think. I have class in the afternoons, and Adam is usually off from work, so it seems like a good day to sit down and write.
Except that when I sit down to write, the ideas usually flee and I sit here looking at a computer screen wondering what to write. But, if I learned anything from NaNoWriMo other than I really do want to try and earn a living by writing, its that its okay to not know what to write. If you sit down and start typing, the words will come.
Um, let's see, what else?
Oh, I met some lovely new people this week (Hello to you all if you are reading this!). Got a new book on Tuesday. This week was another kind of up & down week for me. The depression that seemed to have settled in lifted a bit, and came back, and lifted again. I think maybe its the nice sunny weather doing the trick.
We need to get some patio furniture so I can go out and soak up the sun while I read, or just take a nap in the sun, even. One of the things I miss about living out in the middle of the country, being able to nap on the swing outside (or even just in a sunny spot on the driveway - although I only did that once that I can recall.)
Ah, the dragon turned me onto a new artist, I guess. I'm listening to them now.
I also got an idea for a continuation of a piece I started writing back in January, I guess. So I'm going to work some on that, I think. It might turn into the piece I want to write for the dragon. It might not.
And I've been gathering up material for my first foray into self-publishing. So there is that. I think I may have a title for it...which could maybe be a little misleading...but...I think I like it for a collection of poems, short stories and essays. When I get it together and edited (and possibly peer-reviewed) it will be in the Kindle store. And I may print up some hard copies to pass out to good friends. Or possibly acquaintances who promised a quote for the cover if that is something they would like.
Ah! I started posting videos to my youtube channel recently. Go
here to watch them! (shameless self-pimping, I know...)
Ah, lesee...what else. Oh, running a campaign again. It's a Sailormoon themed 1 on 1. Talking with some brigade peeps, there seems to be people interested in at least a BESM campaign, if not a Sailormoon one. So I might try running one. Maybe Durarara themed? I know right off the bat, a good Orihara and Hewajima. If they'd be up for it.
I'm sure one of them would.
