(no subject)
some people asked for kitten updates, so here it is...
they'll be 5 weeks on Wednesday. they have roundworms though, so since they're all (mom and 4 kittens) getting medicine, I may just leave them with the mom until 7 weeks.
as we believed, we do have 3 boys and 1 girl (the black kitten with a white spot on her stomach is the girl). when they went to the vet 2 weeks ago, 3 of them were 11 1/2 ounces, and 1 was 11 ounces (the black boy).
my brother and his family are keeping Mimi (the mom) and the 2 black kittens. this is in addition to the cat they already have, Maxi. they've only had Maxi for a year, so they've gotten used to having a cat. but I can only imagine how they'll deal with 4 cats. (I'm used to multiple cats, so I'm assuming I'll be fine. *famous last words*) ;)
their black kittens have names:
the girl -- Hinata (Japanese for "a sunny place")
the boy -- Kuro (Japanese for "black")
my kittens, orange and grey, as yet still do not have names. I want to get to know them 1st. though they are in danger of answering only to "orange" and "grey" if that's all their impressional little minds hear.
I'm pondering my name options right now, based on what I know of them from my visits. visits I've had to cut short since Binkley peed on my futon 4 times in 3 days last week. I think I've solved his problem (litterbox issue). but I don't want to take any chances by coming home smelling of some other cats.
