Strahan's sitting at a table, books on the various aspects of the morphogenetic field piled about him, a candle burning at the center of the mountain range of tomes. With one of them open and ready for reading.
As usual Strahan's doing research. Rabastan's vanished and he's taking the time to learn about what he needs to learn about to be ready when the wizard returns.
Whether this research is used on Strahan or Rabastan is yet to be determined.
