I tell you. It's not as good as a knife, but when a radish's all you've got, it makes one hell of a good weapon.

Oh, yes. As an improvised weapon, they'd probably work well. I wouldn't put my life on one, though.

Neither would I. I'm more fond of knives, myself.

Especially in dark alleys--most muggers can't tell the difference between a kitchen knife and a short sword, so it's always pretty convenient.

There really isn't enough difference between a kitchen knife and a short sword to count, unless said kitchen knife is the sort with no blade whatsoever. You can easily defend yourself with either.
