Well, hello, people of the Skies! Are you all having a good day?!
I hope you are, because it's time once again for the Sekai Saionji Special Show!
I'm sorry that I didn't properly answer everyone's comments last time, as it turns out that work had swamped me something fierce, but I did listen to every single comment you gave me, don't you worry! And after thinking about it, and listening to what you, my dear listeners had to say...
I have decided that the Sekai Saionji Special Show is a permanent thing, from my heart to yours, my dear, wonderful listeners!
Now I had originally planned to do an interview with some of the wonderful crew members of the Fiertia, but due to time constraints, this simply was not possible. So I had to go down to plan B, which goes to our Theme of the Week!
[There's the sound of her hands drumming against something, which is supposed to stand as a drum roll]
Dun-du-duh-DAH!
Radishes!
You know, the name "Radish" is a bit close to my heart, for many reasons. "Radish" was the name of the restaurant I worked at back home in Licere, and my mom often used Radishes in her best dishes. Radishes are also very good and nutritious, and can also work as a weapon when need be.
No, this is a true story! This comes from a close and personal friend of mine who I knew in my High School Days, and if you would believe it, she actually ended up fending off a would-be mugger with a huge radish. Turns out when they grow to a particular size, they can be used as a weapon, and do they hurt! I remember that one time when...
Well.
Let's not go into that!
Anyway, Radishes are also kinda cute, aren't they? I mean, if you draw a smiley face on them, they kinda look like babies. Well, very pale babies. But babies! My mom once told me I looked like a radish as a baby, but she might have just been being nice. I dunno.
But they can also be used in several awesome dishes! Like pickled radish, or radish salad! You can also fry them with some breading and they turn out really awesome that way! Or you can just steam them and dip 'em in soy sauce. That works, too, actually.
They also sort of look like onions if you look far away...Though maybe that was just when I was a kid, and I put radishes on my sandwich instead of onions because I didn't know any better.
Oh well!
Time is getting late, so I'm going to end this with a song!
Radishes, Radishes
You are so delicious~
Steam you up
Munch you down
And you will go straight
In my heart~
Have a good night everyone, and I'll see you next week! And if you want any themes for recurring episodes, feel free to let me know! I'm always open for suggestions!
Fare thee well!
