(no subject)
today we went to our lil PEPpers group and gunnar hung out w/ his peeps for a couple hours ;) we have no plans for the 4th - i'd say that's sorta sad but really, we haven't done anything special for the 4th in a long while - maybe went over to someone's house for a small gathering or something. but i kind of feel like doing something tonight - but then again, bryan went back to work this AM and will be gone for the next few days so not the same since he's away. so, we'll just be heading over to the parents' house for dinner and then maybe watch some fireworks from their backyard if gunnar lasts that long.
i came across this site http://www.thisnext.com/ - haven't explored it too much but could be a cool resource for finding some unique products and design inspirations. i need design inspiration, man. we've been in this house for like three years now and i have ONE framed photo on the wall - lame! but hopefully something good will come from "crafternoons" with cecy and tory :) cecy is an artist and has a lot of supplies to mess with - and i want to create some wall art and just don't know where to begin. these wall stickers on this site http://store.dvider.com/nature.html are sorta inspiring - i like the simplicity of some of these images/silhouettes - maybe i can re-create?
