Friday Night at Josh’s

Back at home, I was still exhausted, but mom ordered Applebee’s and that definitely helped. Josh had a few things he wanted help with, and I obliged. We had to begin breaking in the new place anyway. I fixed up his wireless and helped lift some things here and there. Then we took off to Cheapo where I had no idea what I wanted. Writing this, I wish I would’ve been more conscious of all this music I want. ALSO- there was a frog on Josh’s garage, which I thought was cool.

Slushies and hot dogs were next on the to-do list, and we decided to try out the SA up 65 by his house. They did not have blue raspberry and they did not have hot dogs. We were distressed. Instead of hot dogs, we just grabbed some Jack’s pizzas. I thought I’d have just barely enough to afford things, but when I took out my wallet I only had one dollar in it. Josh covered me. Thanks Josh!

Back at his house, we were trying to see if anything good was on. He doesn’t have Encore Mystery, which was a big hit to the potential awesome movies. When we checked out OnDemand, we came across DiG! and a movie I hadn’t heard of called Whatever Happened to Harold Smith? Comcast’s description was something like “British disco boy falls in love with punk girl. Meanwhile, his father discovers he has telekinetic powers.”

How can that not be good? HOW?

Well from what I caught, it was good. But, for the first time ever, as far as I know, I passed out of exhaustion. I was awoken a while later when Josh threw a bottle at me and I came to. Josh asked me something and then told me he threw a bottle at me. I didn’t believe him, then he pointed at me and I was holding a bottle of water. It was really strange.

The movie ended (incredibly) and I headed out to my car. I reached into my pockets to find that my keys were not in them. Josh and I could not find them in the cushions of his couch or chair or anywhere else, and we realized that I had locked them in my car. This was confirmation, if even needed at this point, that it was an exhausting week. He drove me home and I grabbed a spare set of keys and went back to get my car. I fell asleep around four.

Now it’s Saturday and I woke up around two or three, showered at five, and it’s seven something. I’m hungry, but I think everyone else ate already. I’ve been writing all this most of the day. I think I’m going to find some dinner and hang out with Josh for the rest of the night. Maybe we’ll watch DiG! Who knows?
