This is one of the many reasons I don’t mind class.
Today in Advanced Typography, we went out infront of school and drew on the sidewalk. Our teacher Clay (who followed the Grateful Dead on tour for a while, by the way) thought it’d be nice to get outside and do something. He’s awesome.
With the better part of the past two days out of the way, the rest of all my time has been generally dedicated to my Illustration project or delaying my Illustration project. I do get to make a coin featuring the (loose) likeness of a certain Flavor Flav.
Did you know that Chuck D, also of Public Enemy, was a graphic design student before he became a rapper? I think this discovery is definitely a great sign of things to come for this graphic design student.
Speaking of summer plans, there may be an opportunity to make some money. I was asked to essentially chaperone some high school students visiting the Art Institutes and other places (such as Gameworks, Mall of America, and Famous Dave’s). I have no idea what this might pay, but it sounds like a good time.
And what better, on 06/06/06, than good times, hot women, and evil?
